The Supplies and Services Branch of the Finance Department at the Town of Richmond Hill has the responsibility to act as a senior resource in the acquisition process by client department, and to select suppliers who can be responsive and responsible.
The Town is committed to securing the best products and services at the most
competitive prices. In order to assist us in this regard we are utilizing a
service called Biddingo.com
to maintain our vendor's list.
All of Richmond Hill's bidding opportunities are posted on
Biddingo and
organized by commodity. Vendors can add themselves to the Town of Richmond Hill's
Vendor List free of charge. This service also provides vendors with a "one place
to look" for bidding opportunities in Richmond Hill and any other public
organizations utilizing Biddingo for goods and services that they provide.
For a nominal fee, Biddingo
provides some key time saving services for vendors. Vendors registered
with Biddingo and who have paid the subscription fee can receive an automatic e-mail when
opportunities are available in the commodities of their choice. Vendors are
also given the opportunity to purchase bid documents online and arrange a
courier for pick-up.
